Must watch Supersize Me first then contemplate if fast food played a role in the conclusion of Bubble
The Squid and the Whale and Risky Business
Except for the urban setting, (sexual awakening???, come on, BS, as creepy as it was in Me You and Everyone We Know, creepy, not profound, want profound....watch Kids or Bully) the only thing that ties these two movies together is the soundtrack - a score from Tangerine Dream - its pretty obvious....maybe the score for A Requiem for a Dream would have kept us guessing.... at least thes two films are set in the same neighborhood...
The Squid and the Whale, the critical fave this year, as such was the same for Sideways last year, file these next to your dusty VHS copy of The Big Chill
I still love Mary Ann Singleton best.
